Context & Role: This position will be majorly responsible for managing the Distribution Compliance activities which includes Regular monitoring of Agency Channel & Intermediaries Providing support to the functions in terms of improving the compliance awareness, proactively identify high risk areas related to sales practices. Key Responsibilities: - Regular monitoring of Agency units and Intermediaries - Validation of Agent recruitment process. - Verification of training content. - Sales office reviews as per plan - Monitoring and closure of actionable arising from Sales office review - Identification and documentation of risk mitigation plans - Monitoring and testing of controls /processes Measures of Performance: Plan vs. Actual Performance Compliance Review Cycle Accuracy of Compliance Reporting Implementation of regulations and processes, as per timelines. Effectiveness of performing compliance management as support function Quality communication and coordination with Sales Desired qualifications and experience : - Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in financial sector related to regulatory compliance, Audit, Compliance reviews, Operation reviews, Process reviews etc. MBA/ Post graduate (Preferred). - Experience in insurance industry - Experience of writing reports, and making presentations to senior management Knowledge and skills required : - Good Insurance regulatory knowledge & understanding of insurance laws - Good judgment in interpreting guidelines and regulations - Ability to interact with top management and external agencies - Good networking skills with external agencies and industry peers
