Job Description:

Summary:

- We are looking for a hard-working, reliable Collections Specialist to join our team and help us by ensuring Pluralsight receives payments for goods and services while maintaining outstanding customer service.

- As a Collections Specialist, you will assist in cash applications, daily collections and responding to customer requests.

What you'll do:

- Learn and use daily collections and accounting systems

- Track unpaid invoices and follow up regularly with customers for payment, and coordinate with sales reps as needed

- Correspond regularly with sales reps regarding questions on invoices and customer requests

- Apply payments received to outstanding invoices

- Monitor and respond promptly to the constant inflow of e-mails to AR inbox and other communication channels

- Prepare AR Aging reports for weekly meetings with AR team and leadership

- Coordinate with customers and sales reps to send invoices and receive payments through EDI (electronic data interchange) as necessary

Experience you'll bring:

- Professional work experience of 6 months- 1 year in Account Receivable is preferred.

- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Tesorio, Hiver or other accounting systems is a plus

Requirements:

- Bachelor's/ master's degree as a minimum qualification is mandatory.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Travel Requirements:

- While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important.

- Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

- Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards.

- Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis.

- Learn new tasks, remember processes, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow.
