As the Head of HR at Games24x7, you will be entrusted with two major tasks:

- Talent acquisition with focus on our core values and traits

Job Requirements

- Understand the business and its core operating culture, and tailor all recruitment and retention strategy to driving and promoting that culture.

- Build the Games24x7 brand into one of the most attractive places to work for the best in the country.

- Manage end to end recruitment of candidates across levels preferably from internet/ecommerce/ IT product organizations

- Manage the Administration function at Games24x7.

- Engage new comers by showing them that Games24x7 is the right place for them to grow

- Responsible for the employees- performance review process and subsequent appraisals

- Work closely with all teams to understand pain points/grievances from an HR (work environment and culture) perspective and genuinely address them both efficiently and effectively

- Develop and implement policies, programs and processes which make the work environment at Games24x7 conducive to providing awesome game playing experiences

- Work with key stakeholders and devise learning, development and training programs to build a culture of continuous growth

- Plan and execute fun events and engagement activities

Our Expectations

- You have at least 12 to 15 years of experience in an HR leadership role with broad knowledge and experience in all aspects of managing human resources

- You can deliver results given broad directives

- You innovate and take risks by coming out of your comfort zone

- You are a natural orator, eloquent in speech/addressing a public forum

- You have a positive and pro-active attitude with the willingness to deliver quickly

- You can present issues, ideas and recommendations clearly through verbal or written communication

The Games24x7 Business

The Games24x7 business is powered by a proprietary multi-player tournament gaming platform built by our talented and passionate Mumbai-based development team. We are not to be confused with a game studio or a game development company. Games24x7 is not in the business of making or developing online games. Our gaming platform is secure, scalable, extensible and is at the heart of our business, supporting all aspects of the business operations. It is developed using JAVA and J2EE technologies. We currently host online multiplayer Rummy with entry fees and cash prizes using the proprietary platform. Despite the platform being feature rich in terms of its offering, we have barely scratched the surface.

The plan is to build a state of the art gaming tournament platform into which games of all types can be seamlessly integrated from single player leader-board type games to multiplayer knock out tournaments, round robin tournaments etc. This multifaceted platform will also incorporate social features, and could easily be integrated with Facebook and other social networks. We have the makings of what will be an industry-changing product in our hands. We are confident that the gaming industry in India will be seen as pre-Games24x7 platform and post-Games24x7 platform by analysts in the future. We will continue to invest to incorporate new innovations and capabilities into the core platform to ensure that our players receive a world-class experience.

Our team comprises of people from all facets of business - technology, marketing, product design, data science, operations, legal and finance and of course administration and human resources. The technology team is the largest with every second person being in the technology team followed by sizeable operations and marketing teams. Most people at Games24x7 are in their mid-twenties to early thirties.
