The Games24x7 Business :
The Games24x7 business is powered by a proprietary multi-player tournament gaming platform. We currently host online multiplayer Rummy across multiple channels - Desktop Web, Mobile Web and an Android Native App. Despite the platform being feature rich in terms of its offering, we have barely scratched the surface.
The plan is to build a state of the art gaming tournament platform into which games of all types can be seamlessly integrated from single player leader-board type games to multiplayer knock out tournaments, round robin tournaments etc. This multifaceted platform will also incorporate social features, and could easily be integrated with Facebook and other social networks. We have the makings of what will be an industry-changing product in our hands.

Who are we looking for?
Position Title : Analytics Manager
Introduction and Role Summary :
- When a player makes a first deposit on Rummycircle, he becomes a cash player. The Retention team's role is to maximize the lifetime value from cash players by reducing attrition and increasing monetization from these players.
- This optimization is achieved by doing the round-the-clock analysis of data on player behavior (gameplay, promotion consumption). This analysis leads to important tactical and strategic decisions. Tactical decisions are about which campaigns should get a bigger share of the budget and which less. Strategic decisions are about using player behavior data to arrive at insights about the player decision making process. These insights feed into design of new promotional offers, identification of correct target segments and even changes to the core product, which would ultimately increase revenues.
The Analytics Manager will undergo on-the-job training with the Marketing Retention Team to ensure a smooth transition into the position.
Detailed Job Description :
1. To analyze/estimate impact of changes to product and promotions.
2. To come up with actionable insights to improve product experience and marketing offers.
3. To convert actionable insights into well-defined projects.
4. To understand underlying player behavior.
5. To work with the Product team and Technology team to execute these projects and measure their success.
1. At least 3 years of experience in analytics.
2. Degree in Engineering/Statistics/Management from a premier institute (IITs/IIMs/ISB/ISI/IIFT etc.)
3. Basic knowledge of digital marketing is preferable.
4. Good understanding of statistics, probability, segmentation techniques.
5. Exceptional logical and analytical skills
6. Strong ability to parse through data and detect patterns
7. Strong ability to convert patterns in data to test hypotheses
8. Good written and oral communication skills
