Platform Head - Non Profit Organisation

Platform Head reporting to the CEO

Our client is one of India's leading non profit organisation with a focus to move young people living in extremely marginalised environments out of poverty. Currently the organisation works with approximately 400,000 youth and adolescents and provides a seven year programme that ensures participants attend school, achieve good grades, don- t get married, and are placed in sustainable livelihoods. Currently our cleint places about 75% of its graduates into employment. They have just under 2,000 employees, 10,000 mentors and operates in 7 countries.

- Reporting to the CEO this position will be supported by a group of significant stakeholders, including the board, funding partners and domain experts.

- Our client requires leadership in developing and operating significant resources that will put technology at the heart of its next stage of its growth. Broadly this is divided into two core parts;

1. To build a platform that builds a giving community

- Our client has one of the largest deployment of owned programming in its 3,500 communities. They wish to leverage this considerable advantage with an online strategy. The platform will enable a seamless donation and brand engagement experience that creates immediate gratification and retention.

- Once built, this strategy will include the use of both online and offline partnerships.

2. Leverage the current automation plan

- Our client has already started one of the most ambitious connectivity projects in Asia with its technology partners Microsoft, Google and Vodafone. This opens up the ability to :

- Provide an analytics platform for management and also a direct interface donors

- Create a collaborative strategy for partners to share the platform

- To exponentially scale the reach and scope

Key skills / experience :

- Strong business acumen

- Proven skills and experience in product & marketing

- Experience in online / digital business or start up would be a plus

- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage various stakeholders
