Plant Manager - Solar Developer Firm

Job Description - To ensure excellence in Plants O&M- maximizing CUF and PR, plan, schedule and ensure execution regular activities to ensure smooth operations of a solar power plant. Ensure plant performance in terms of efficiency, availability, safety and cost-effectiveness over the lifetime of assets. The role is based in Pavagada- Karnataka.

Description :

- Manage power plant Commissioning and O&M.

- Ensure that all O&M activities performed at project sites complies with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties

- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.

- Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims

- Timely written review reports from field operation, status, and constructive feedback as requested

- Responsible for all site activities of own Engineers, Contractors during O&M

- Responsibility of taking JMR reading with DISCOM and invoicing

- Overall responsibility for Stakeholders Management, Quality of maintenance, EHSQ issues, Safety, Security and statutory compliance of the plant and personnel at site

- Independently manage power plant operations

- Independently manage the negotiations with suppliers, local stakeholders, Govt. authorities

- Identifies problems and develops corrective action plans

- Manage internal O&M/Projects teams and consultants

- Interact closely with external interest groups like technical consultants, O&M contractors, equipment vendors, etc

- Liason with local Government Authorities to ensure statutory compliance

Profile :

- Diploma in Engineering/ Bachelor's degree from a renowned Engineering institute with preferred specialization in power generation

- Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience with Min. 5 yrs experience in solar power project execution. Should have handled at least one project of capacity > 50 MW

- Extensive knowledge of project management and solar power plant technical equipment and production process will be plus

- Good interpersonal and communications skills to interact internally as well as network with external vendors/partners

- Deep understanding of power plant operations to be able to independently handle and take ownership of running the plant with high deliverables
