Plant HR Role - Manufacturing Unit (6-10 yrs)
About the Client: Our Client is a consumer products company that specializes in the production, distribution, and provision of personal care products and is looking to hire a Plant Manager HR. The role is based out of Sanand, Gujarat
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the hiring/talent acquisition and retaining staff, Induction for new employees, compensation and benefits administration, performance reviews, employee relations and supervise Unit HRs
- Monitor common processes and day-to-day operations of Human Resources, including both corporate Human Resources functions and Human Resources support for unit (Plant) employees
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and various labor laws applicable on the industry. Liaison with Government/local bodies is required
- Develop and implement plan for improvement of plant efficiencies & organizational effectiveness / capability
- Develop and manage tools for appraisal, job evaluation, and development
- Champion Compensation for the employees along with handling rewards and recognition for them
- Monitor administration, safety, and security activities throughout the Plant
- Monitor the employee engagement activities and Identify the training needs of employees at all levels for upgrading their skills
As a successful candidate you come with:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in handling the HR administration of a Plant or manufacturing setup
- You come with Hands on experience in employee relations and dealing with workmen, labor laws and compliance
- You come with a degree in Personnel Management / HRM
