Plant Head - Pharmaceutical Production

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical firm in India which manufactures a wide range if products including Capsules, Ointments and Creams.

Job Description

- The role will lead the plant operations for the Aurangabad plant.

- Focus on driving production efficiencies and optimum utilization of plant capacity.

- Ensure HR, IR and statutory compliance aspects are handled sensitively.

- To effectively steer various continual improvements initiatives & strive towards achieving excellence in all the manufacturing operations at the plant.

- To improve RCA culture in plant in areas of Quality, EHS, delivery, Cost and Productivity using Six Sigma methodology.

- To initiate measures for augmenting productivity of assets & manpower, reducing manufacturing costs for competitive advantage.

- To maintain harmonious industrial relations and negotiate with unions on wage/productivity agreements in coordination with HR.

- To arrange for up-gradation of equipment and machinery at plants after obtaining requisite capital expense approvals.

Candidate Profile

- Years of experience: 15 - 25 years

- Qualification: Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/ Production engineering

- Should have exposure in the pharma and medical devices sector

- Strong exposure to working on improving production capacity and efficiency of the plant

- Hands on experience in working on multiple cost saving initiatives

- Ability to handle and solve union issues

- Exposure in leading manufacturing excellence projects for the plant
