Plant Head/Operations Head - Auto Ancillary

We have the following vacancies:

1.Plant Head-Halol: Will be the SBU head and responsible for overall performance of the plant. Will provides necessary guidance and direction so that all resources (including material, men, money and machines) work together optimally in order to meet and exceed the business targets of the manufacturing facility. Responsibility for P&L of the plant

KRAs:

- To formulate and review operational strategy to meet business requirements in terms of Volume, Quality & Cost for Plant in compliance with the Business Plans

- To create a roadmap with time-bound milestones for achieving production excellence at the plant.

- To maintain relations with the union and other relevant local authorities for smooth functioning of the unit and ensure fulfillment of statutory guidelines (including EHS).

- To provide the necessary guidance and inputs to facilitate the development of the next level of managers in the Plant.

- To ensure alignment and clarity to the individual departments with respect to their own plans.

- To maintain customer interface not just for relationship but also for improving share of business, competition analysis, customer business trend.

- To build & facilitate innovation mindset for enhancing productivity.

- To maintain optimum Inventory.

- To focus on Vendor rating from customer focusing on COST, QUALITY & DELIVERY.

- To focus on Automation Project, Energy saving project in the plant.

- To plan for allocation of resources across the operations in accordance with priorities and needs of customer delivery and ensure optimum utilization of capacity.

- To identify constraints in the value chain and take necessary measures to remove them.

- To take ownership of enabling functions - HR & Admin, Purchase, Finance.

- To ensure implementation of Quality systems, TPM etc to improve PQCDMS.

Candidate Profile: Engineers (Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Metallurgical) with 20-30 years experience in automobile industry of which recent years must be in auto-ancillary organisations. Must be currently unit head in an auto ancillary organisation. Have process back ground of Grinding, plating, assembly and welding, machining. Experience in cost control, new product/project development,

2.Head-Operations, Chennai: Will provide direction and lead all aspects of operations at the plant as per agreed targets (PQCDSM) for achieving operational efficiency.

KRAs:

- To lead and manage for improving the production operations at the plant by driving execution of sales w.r.t plan for achieving targets.

- To manage and ensure that the quality performances relevant to parts & product are as per customer requirements.

- To ensure proper measures are in place for management and control of inventory carried.

- To plan, monitor and review for effective utilization of resources.

- To conduct regular operational reviews. i.e. EHS, Logistic, improvements etc. and create plans and drive them for implementation for achieving operational excellence at the plant.

- To provide direction and lead all aspects of operations at the plant as per agreed targets (PQCDMS) for achieving operational efficiency.

- To build & facilitate innovation mindset for enhancing productivity.

- To maintain optimum Inventory.

- To focus on Vendor ratting from customer focusing on COST, QUALITY & DELIVERY.

- To focus on Automation Project, Energy saving project in the plant.

Candidate Profile: Engineers (Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Metallurgical) with 15-25 years experience in automobile industry of which recent years must be in auto-ancillary organisations. Must be currently production / operations head in an auto ancillary organisation. Have process back ground of die casting process (machines, tools and dies, critical process parameters, process hygiene, die planning & maintenance, die casting curve, quality parameters). Knowledge of special Process like Heat Treatment, Shot Blasting, Painting etc. Focus on profitability & Cost control (IDM, Manpower, Energy cost)

& New Product and project development.
