General Manager - Production - Ferro Chrome (18-25 yrs)
Production Head for renowned Ferro Alloys Company in Odisha.
Position: General Manager - Production / Process
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Metallurgy Engineering
Experience: 20+ years in Ferro Alloys Production/ Process/ Operation profile.
Objective:
1) Managing all plant Production & Operations with effective utilization of all resources and implementing industry best practices (such as TPM, Six Sigma, Lean Management, etc.) that contributes to improve productivity and efficiency.
2) Overall In charge with responsibility to ensure compliance to all statutory & regulatory requirements.
3) Providing safe working environment and safeguard all assets.
Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for creating short and long term operational strategy in line with company vision and implementation of the same.
2) Responsible for improving profitability by Process improvement, producing value added products at economical cost and cost optimization.
3) Identify Production/ Operational losses on a daily basis & take corrective action to eliminate losses.
4) Ensuring optimum level of stock of raw materials/ spares/ consumables and other resources to have uninterrupted production.
5) Ensure Overall Production effectiveness (OPE)/ Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for achievement of all Production Targets with respect to Quantity, Quality, Cost and Delivery.
6) Ensure progress on various business excellence initiatives and effective implementation of Business tools (Process improvement, TPM, Six Sigma, Lean Management, etc.) as per plan.
7) Ensuring for safeguarding men, machinery, products, raw materials and other resources.
8) Ensure disaster management and recovery plan.
Immediate Joining or with in 30 days is highly preferred.
