Plant Head - FMCG (15-25 yrs)

Our client is a manufacturer of non-carbonated beverages in India. They have constantly innovated with their product concepts carving a niche for themselves in a cluttered market. They boast of a strong connect with the youth with their market penetration efforts. Currently, they are looking for Manufacturing head in Mumbai to lead the plants of the West Zone

Reporting to the COO, you shall be managing the unit heads and also the functional department heads for all production, maintenance, quality control and safety activities. You'll be responsible for -

- Creating and implementing best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance

- Ensuring that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market

- Developing and managing master production schedule and operations budgets for products to directly support and ensure that the product is delivered to agreed cost, quality and timelines

- Planning and executing maintenance activity to ensure plant is kept safe and compliant

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

- Ideally you have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical engineering or related field. 


- A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred. 


- You have previously had 5-8 years- experience in manufacturing supervision, production management or plant management and about 15+ years of diversified engineering and operations experience in an F&B environment. 


- You have the ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills. 


- You have excellent planning and organizational skills. 


- You have the ability to balance production and maintenance needs and possess strong analytical and decision making skills. 


- You have a good understanding of operations excellence and spearheaded several such initiatives.
