Plant Head - Factory Operations - Chemical Plant (15-23 yrs)
Our client is a leading Speciality Chemical MNC. They are looking for a Site Head to manage operations worth 500 crores and a strength of 450 people at their factory in Northern India.
Reporting into Director-operations and managing functions such as Production, Quality, HSE, Projects and Engineering and Operations excellence, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring excellent operational performance of the unit through appropriate key performance indicators to drive improvements
- Maintaining excellent relations with the community and sustaining the nosiness targets while operating with integrity.
- Extreme focus on continual process improvement and continual cost reduction in internal metrics but not compromising on the quality standards and customer needs.
- Driving the EHS culture and maintaining the EHS ethics and exceeding the legislative requirements linked to local and global legislationc c.
- Hiring the right talent to make sure the organogram is perfectly aligned to my client's standards and is healthy and that the headcount is sufficient to enable effective and efficient operations.
- Developing an environment where development of people is a practice, an environment which is competitive and an environment which pushes people to achieve their potential.
- Managing industrial relationships and career development, as well as handling local community relations.
Ideally you are a full time engineer with 15+ years of factory operations experience in hazardous chemical industry. You should have managed atleast 200 cr of operations and atleast a staff of 200-300 people. You should be a Green Belt/Black Belt six sigma professional. You should have strong people management skills and industry relationship skills and should be ready to adapt technological changes. You should have excellent communication and influencing skills. You should have demonstrated an excellent track record in your career and should be ready for a challenging assignment.
