Plant Head - Greenfield Chemical Manufacturing

- Setup & Lead the Greenfield Chemical Plant. Excellent growth trajectory & work with MD in a high visibility role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Overall responsibility for setting up and maintaining the manufacturing facility such that manufacturing targets are met within the specified time, quality and cost standards while adhering to all Quality, legal and regulatory norms.

- To ensure that all production programmes and delivery schedules based on regional indents and market requirements are achieved within the budgeted expenses, quality standards and agreed inventory levels.

- To ensure that production plans are drawn up as per market requirement and to monitor that plans are adhered to, and delivery schedules are met.

- Ensure that all products manufactured by the Factory and the production processes adopted conform to technical specifications as laid down by the Technical Department.

- To ensure proper material handling with minimum wastage of material.

- To follow up on Raw material supplies with the Buying department.

- To liaise with other functions for smooth running of the Production unit.

- To ensure good housekeeping inside the factory.

- Implement and maintain safety standards as directed by the group and the requirement of any activity.

- Ensure that all EHS norms are strictly adhered to across the plants and manufacturing facilities and create a safe working environment.

- Ensure SOPs are adhered to at all stages of production.

- Maintain quality standard of end product.

- Monitoring machine output.

- Prepare and maintain production reports & MIS.

- Conflict resolution within the department.

- Control of Slow-moving items - SMNC.

- Participate in Long Term Settlement and negotiate for most effective terms with respect to manpower utilization and increased productivity.

- Responsible for all people related matters for his team; partner with HR for hiring needs; performance evaluation and developmental needs to ensure motivation and retention.

- To plan and ensure that proper preventive and routine maintenance are carried out for all Plant & Machinery.

- To ensure for quick redressal of workmen's grievances.

- To plan staff training and development with IR, so that maximum performance can be achieved.

- To ensure that all licenses are renewed on time.

Qualification And Experience :

1. BE Chemical with 18-22 Years of experience in Chemical Greenfield Projects and manufacturing.

2. Should possess Good Leadership Skills.

3. Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.

4. Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements.

5. Business oriented approach.

6. Strong believer in adherence to quality & safety.

7. Sensitive to environment & social issues.

8. Good administrative and people management skills.

9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
