Plant Finance Role - Manufacturing Unit (9-17 yrs)
Job Description :
- Responsible for all general accounting activities related to business in India in compliance with Indian, Company Policies and International Accounting Policy.
- Preparation of financial statements and Plant Management reports for the India Plant.
- Responsible for coordinating the year-end audit requiring communication with Auditors and ensure accounts are audited on a timely manner and most efficiently - all supporting schedules and information to be made available to the auditors before the start of the audit.
- Preparation and filling of Income Tax, VAT, CST and duty drawback tax returns of the entity in India. Also ensure that the refunds are claimed on a timely manner.
- Manage treasury functions and coordinate with Corporate Treasury Department Melbourne including FX risks management, bank borrowing, banking facilities and Cash flows.
- Provide leadership and support to finance staff located at India site. Ensure maintenance of appropriate control environment and compliance with the company's operating policies and procedures
- Review Plant monthly results and ensure these results are a materially correct reflection of Plant performance
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciliation reviewed on a regular basis and that outstanding balances are cleared on a timely basis.
- Ensure the Assets and Liabilities of the company is valued and reported accurately and consistent with Accounting policies.
- In order to effectively fulfill the accountabilities of this position, it is necessary for you to possess a Professional/Post Graduate qualification in Accounting.
- Also requires a thorough knowledge of Costing and General Accounting with a minimum of 6 years of accounting, controlling, and costing experience. A thorough knowledge of GAAP and International Accounting Standards is a must.
- You also need to have extensive experience with ERP systems and other office suite software.
Qualification - MBA in Finance OR CA
Candidates shall have experience from Manufacturing Plant domain
