Plant Controller - Financial Domain - FMCG

Looking for a FMCG client, for their Ibadan, Nigeria location.

About Position.

Reporting to : Solid Line to plant manager and dotted line to Chief Managing director, Expand Global Industries.

The position is newly defined (no direct reports are expected)

Purpose: Independent financial steering and reporting of all plant related costs including product costing.the position includes budget responsibility which is yet to be defined.

Requirements :

1. Minimum 5 Years experience and international projects experience preferred, not a must. Industry background looking for: Hardcore manufacturing, preferably chemical, FMCG

2. University degree in Industrial Engineering (Master's degree in business administration will be a plus) and with SAP (ERP) Background/ MS Office

3. Good knowledge of finance and accounting guidelines

4.Good communication and presentation skills in English

Task :

1. Controlling and regular reporting of costs and performance KPIs related to the manufacturing plant.

2. CAPEX controlling and reporting on the status of projects at the manufacturing site.

3. Lead Raw & Packaging materials warehouses management, team, handling, reporting, reception, stock-count, delivery, planning, and controlling

4. Ensuring of compliance with relevant internal and external guidelines and standards.

5. Preparation of financial analyses and management reports supporting the plant manager.

6. Ensuring a smooth planning cycle.

Individual Task:

1.Developing, planning, monitoring, forecasting and regular reporting of cost and performance KPIs related to plant controlling. (25%)

2.Setting up and managing processes in the area of financial controlling & reporting of plant related costs, including cost centre structure setup and relevant reporting tools. (20%)

3.Lead R&P Warehousing, planning, controlling, and manage the R&P team(15%)

4.Supporting the plant manager for the preparation of financial analyses, cash flow forecasts, ad hoc risk analysis and management reports, while actively contributing with ideas to improve cost effectiveness.(10%)

5.Supporting the plant manager to ensure timely completion of key project milestones.(10%)

6.Responsible for financial steering of the CAPEX projects at the manufacturing site.(10%)

7.Continuous improvement of controlling processes.(10%)

8.Ensuring compliance with relevant internal and external guidelines and standards.

- Coordination of internal and external audits at the site ensuring.(10%)

- Supporting the implementation of SAP (ERP) at the plant.

- Leading monthly closing for the full plant

- Leading stock-variance on a monthly basis across the plant

Scope :

Internal: Manufacturing Site Management, Regional Controlling Team, Project Team

External: Auditors
