Plant Controller - CA - Mfg/Auto (8-12 yrs)
Designation: Plant Controller
Location : Guwahati plant (Proposed)
Reporting to Functionally to CFO & Administratively to Plant GM
Qualification: CA
Experience: 8 years experience in Plant Finance & Accounts of a reasonably large corporate entity.
Detail Responsibilities:
- To handle complete decentralized plant accounts & costing, inventory valuation including finalization of P & L, Balance Sheet of Plant
- Co-ordination with Statutory & internal auditors.
- Setting up of systems, MIS, Tax Audit, compliance with accounting standards & statutory compliances
- Guiding & leading the decentralized plant accounts & costing team
- Good exposure to systems will be pre requisite.
- Budgeting, supporting plant management in areas of financial management, review & strengthening of financial & internal controls in plant operations, evaluation of various financial proposals including capex proposals, look at various expenses control & reduction measures, help plant management in improving productivity & plant profitability, review of costing & inventory valuation
- Compliance with Indirect Taxes in areas of Excise, Service Tax & Sales Tax & Direct Taxes compliance with focus on TDS
Skills Requirement
Good knowledge of decentralized & centralized accounting set ups with exposure to plant accounting, costing, inventory valuation, Accounting Standards & Direct & Indirect Taxation Laws, Good financial & business analytical skills, Must be good at systems & hands on skills on Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
