Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for a consultant to support them on a Capital Program Management project based out of Liberia. They are looking for someone with prior experience in managing large plant construction projects.
Below summarises the responsibilities of the consultant :
- Help validate progress on Civil, Structural and Mechanical erection at site
- Validating & refining project schedule
- Conducting planning & scheduling workshops
- Cross-functional co-ordination across multiple stakeholders E.g., Project Team, PMC, Design Team etc.
- Day-to-day co-ordination with PMC, EPC contractors - ensuring timely execution of work
- Setting up governance - running reviews, tracking key metrics, preparing reports
An ideal candidate would have :
- 5 to 10 years of experience in managing large plant construction projects
- Experience of having worked with either an engineering/construction firm or experience of being a project management consultant for construction projects focused on Plant Construction
- A post-graduation degree from a top tier university is mandatory
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension. The consultant will be required to be on-site in Liberia for 6 weeks followed by 2 weeks in India on a recurring basis.
