Plant Accounts Head - CA - FMCG

Our client is a billion dollar top line company holding 45% market share in India and 50% share in export market.

As the Plant Accounts Head, you will be leading the finance function for the manufacturing unit and will be responsible for the overall functioning of the finance and accounts department at the plant level- invoicing, GST, P&L etc.

Some of the Key responsibilities you will have are :

- Monitoring the preparation of the profit & loss account, balance sheet etc. for the plant location, on a periodic basis

- Monitoring funds and working capital management for the plant

- Liaising for insurance policies for the plant, based on guidelines issued by the Corporate Finance Department

- Ensuring timely accounting for receivables, payables, expenses, cash, fixed assets, inventory, conversion activities, capital expenditure, etc

- Overseeing banking and treasury related activities and ensuring that funds are optimally utilized

- Scrutinising unit accounts on a periodic basis to ensure compliance with appropriate accounting policies and practices

- Achieving cost reduction objectives and process improvement objectives

- Assisting in GST and VAT Return submissions

- Monitoring finalisation of accounts - Statutory Audit, Tax Audit as per IGAAP, Group Financial Package and Audit

- Ensuring timely preparation of MIS as required by the management

- Partnering with the factory general manager in reviewing the financial performance of the unit and highlighting the areas of improvement/opportunities

- Designing / suggesting suitable formats for the continuous improvement in MIS

- Being an active member of Unit Strategy Team to drive initiatives like profitability improvement, Wastage reduction, etc.

Candidate Profile:

- CA preferred

- Should have handled Plant accounting for manufacturing units with turnover of at least 300 cr+

- SAP experience with hands on knowledge of GST and VAT preferred

- Good command over verbal and written communication

- Good people management and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence a matrix of internal and external customers at varied levels

- Exemplary planning and time management skills

- Flexible for 6 days a week working structure

- Flexible to attend Training at HO in Noida
