Planify Capital - Senior Vice President - Alternative Investment Fund Sales

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced sales leader to head our Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) distribution vertical.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network across HNIs, UHNWIs, Family Offices, and institutional investors, with deep knowledge of AIF structures, regulatory landscape, and product positioning.

This is a strategic, revenue-generating role with clear targets and significant growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the AIF sales and distribution strategy, with a focus on scaling AIF placements across high-value investor segments.

- Build and manage relationships with wealth managers, RIAs, investment bankers, family offices, and institutions.

- To build and manage relationships with Mutual Fund Distributors (ARN holders), RIAs, and Stock Brokers for the placement of AIFs and unlisted shares.

- Identify investor needs and recommend suitable alternative investment products based on risk profile and portfolio objectives.

- Drive investor education, product training, and promotional initiatives to increase AIF & Unlisted shares awareness and participation.

- Achieve defined revenue and asset mobilization targets through structured sales campaigns.

- Collaborate with fund management and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and post-sale engagement.

- Maintain a strong understanding of SEBI regulations, product features, valuation models, and competitive offerings in the AIF space.

- Represent the organization at investment conferences, forums, and industry events.

Key Requirements

- 10-15 years of experience in AIF sales, wealth management, or investment product distribution.

- Proven track record in mobilizing assets for AIFs, PMS, or other structured products.

- Strong understanding of the Indian alternative investment ecosystem and SEBI guidelines.

- Excellent network among HNIs, UHNWIs, and institutional clients.

- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability and a results-driven approach.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.

- Certifications (any of the following preferred):

- NISM Series XIX-B - AIF (Category III) Distributors Certification.

- NISM Series XIX-C - AIF Managers Certification.

- CAIA Charterholder - Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

- AIMA's Skill Development Program on Alternative Investments and PMS.
