PlanetSpark - Senior Manager/Manager - Operations (4-6 yrs)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Willing to work 6 days a week
- Willing to work in an early-stage startup and build everything from scratch
- MUST HAVE 4-6 years of prior experience in managing operations of a consumer tech startup, preferably with managing a large workforce
- MUST HAVE excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Relocatable/Working out of Gurgaon
Roles and Responsibilities/ Mission Statement:
The Manager / Sr Manager, Teacher Operations is a key role that contributes towards growth at Planet Spark. The incumbent would be the sole owner of one metric: increasing the number of demo classes conducted by the teachers. This is a cross-functional role that would require operations, training and marketing.
1) Understanding levers for demo conduction
- Understand the various levers for conduction of demo classes
- Unlock the potential in every lever
2) Teacher Training and Onboarding
- Onboard a large number of teachers every week
- Train them on demo conduction
3) Lead Utilization / Teacher responsiveness
- Understand the various levers for lead utilization and build processes to boost the same
- Ensure that leads get responded within the agreed SLA
4) Calling Team Management
- Manage a team of internal or outsourced team of calling agents who will manage dropped leads
- Create SOPs, SLAs for the teams
- Identify new unlocks for driving more demos
5) Demo Metrics tracking
- Constantly monitor key metrics and drop outs
- Create strategies for improving demo metrics
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4-6 years of experience in managing operations of a consumer tech startup, preferably with managing a large workforce
- Highly analytical and problem-solving bent of mind and a strong obsession with using a data-driven approach
- Ability to think of solving a problem from multiple levers such as product, sales and training
