Eligibility Criteria

1. Willing to work in a Series A funded startup and build everything from scratch

2. Willing to work 6 days a week

3. 5 to 8 years of experience in as finance controller at an e-Commerce company or a consumer tech startup

4. Excellent analytical ability

Roles and Responsibilities

The Finance Controller will be the sole custodian of all Finance related work at PlanetSpark.

1. The financial controller should streamline our accounting functions and operations, provide financial analysis and reports, promote regulatory compliance, drive income generation.

2. Preparing financial reports and Analyzing financial data.

3. Overseeing and preparing income statements.

4. Monitoring internal controls.

5. Evaluating and managing risk and developing plans for financial growth.

6. Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting

7. Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business

8. Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts

9. Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports

10. Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants

11. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

12. Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
