PlanetSpark - AVP/Senior Manager - Product (4-9 yrs)

- Willing to work 6 days a week
- Willing to work in an early-stage startup and build everything from scratch
- Relocatable/Working out of Gurgaon
- Prior experience in product management or tier 1 consulting firm
Roles and Responsibilities/ Mission Statement:
The AVP/Sr.ManagerProduct is a key problem-solving role that combines consumer research, product management and business growth. The incumbent will completely own one metric: conversion of leads. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a tier 1 consulting firm to make a switch to product management.
1) Consumer Research
- Conduct FGDs and consumer interviews to get insights into consumer behavior
- Conduct teacher interviews and build teacher personas to get insights into teacher behavior
2) Conversion optimization
- Track conversions on a daily basis and own conversion metrics
- Own the entire product flow from lead capture to client conversion
- Run experiments and A/B tests to optimize conversion ratios at each step
3) Product Improvements
- Suggest product features to drive conversions
- Work with the technology team to get the product features executed
4) Demo conversions
- Closely monitor class demos and ideate strategies for driving higher conversions through demo design improvements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4-9 years of experience in product management at a consumer tech business, preferably in offline to online conversion
- OR 4-9 years of experience at a tier-1 consulting firm
- Highly analytical and problem-solving bent of mind
- A strong obsession with using a data-driven approach
