Mission Statement for the Role :

- The AVP of Operations will be leading the operations for the entire supply onboarding of teachers and owning the key metrics of trained teachers per week and selection to onboarding ratio.

Roles and Responsibilities/ Mission Statement :

- Teacher supply is a critical aspect of our platform business. Ensuring a regular, reliable teacher supply is one of the most important determiners of platform success. This role will ensure that a highly trained supply of teachers goes live every week.

1) Onboarding completion :

- Achieve weekly onboarding numbers for teacher onboarding

- Ensure that the onboarded teachers achieve the demo conversion targets

2) Dropout reduction :

- Ensure teacher dropouts are less than 5% in the entire funnel

- Own up the entire funnel and look for optimization unlocks

3) Training effectiveness :

- Work closely with the AD for Training to ensure training effectiveness

- Play an active role in understanding and improvement of the content for live and video-based learning

4) Product led operational efficiency :

- Look for product efficiency unlocks to improve the onboarding process

- Track and measure data and get dashboards created for daily monitoring

5) Ticket Resolution :

- Problem solve various issues in teacher onboarding and create their resolutions

- Design ticket resolution process

- Get tickets resolved as per the RCA documents within a short TAT

6) Team Leadership :

- Lead and manage the operations team that will ensure teacher onboarding

- Build a strong execution and data-driven culture that keeps teachers at the center

What are we looking for? :

- MBA or BTech from tier-1 institutes (IIMs / ISB / IITs)

- 8 to 12 years of work experience in leading complex operations teams at consumer tech startups

- MUST have worked in tech and data-led operations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability

- Interest in training design would be a huge plus

- Ability to drive large teams
