Mission Statement for the Role:

Bring organic user growth at PlanetSpark across India, Middle East and US/Canada through organic channels and product

Eligibility Criteria:

- Willing to work 6 days a week at a Series A startup

- Demonstrated ability to bring organic growth to a digital startup through multiple channels

- Exceptional ability to develop viral and consumable content to lead growth

- Relocatable/Working out of Gurgaon

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Associate Director of Organic Growth is not just an SEO Management role. It is about leading organic growth through multiple levers across geographies. This is a greenfield opportunity to strategize and execute growth organic growth and content strategy for the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Growth Strategy

- Identify top growth levers such as blogs, partnerships, podcasts, videos, product offerings, contests, social media (YouTube, Quora, Reddit etc.)

- Formulate the organic growth strategy across different channels and geographies

2. New Growth Channel Identification

- Identify new growth channels to leverage organic growth

- Identify new avenues to foster organic traffic by using analytical tools

- Grow and execute the channels

3. Content Planning and Agency Management

- Formulate content plan across channels

- Work with content teams and agencies to execute content plans

4. SEO Excellence

- Plan and execute SEO through On-Page Optimization and SEO audits, Quality Link Acquisition Skills, Google-friendly natural Off-PageOptimization

- YouTube SEO: Formulate and execute the Video SEO Strategy on channels such as YouTube, Vimeo etc.

- Work on Keyword Research, Content Writing Strategy, Local SEO, and other SEO initiatives to increase Organic Search Traffic and SERP ranking dominance

5. Product / Technology led growth

- Come up with product ideas to drive organic growth

- Work closely with the technology team to develop the products

6. SEO Led ORM

- Formulate strategies to maintain online reputation of the company on various company search strings

- Ensure excellent results on the first page post any company related search results

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Demonstrated experience in leading organic growth for consumer internet companies for 7 to 12 years

- Strong understanding of multiple organic growth channels

- Exceptional ability to understand different forms of content, backed by exceptional written communication skills

- A hands-on approach with a strong execution mindset

- A keen desire to drive the organic growth for a fast-growing Series A funded early-stage startup

- An apparent Founder's mindset i.e. A mindset where the person can own up organic growth and shape it independently like a Founder
