P&L Risk/Product Control Role (6-13 yrs)

Responsibilities

- Managing Daily P&L team on FIC certification.

- Daily P&L production (Asset classes: FIC, Vanilla)

- Dealing with the production and reporting of daily risk attributed P&L and commentary on key drivers of P&L attribution.

- Involved in various strategic Industrialization projects and Supporting change project initiatives.

- Conduct user acceptance testing for enhancements to current systems or migration to new systems.

- Discussion of Daily P&L with the Trading Desk and obtaining their sign-off.

- Liaising closely with IT, MO and senior management on various booking or valuation issues.

- Ensuring appropriate controls and reviews are maintained for Daily P&L production.

- Reporting and resolution of manual adjustments and PNL jumps which might be driven by variety of reasons like non-recording of corporate actions, dividends, rate difference, which is not captured, or some trades executed after the cut off time.

Profile Required -

- Proficiency in MS Office Tools (Especially MS Excel)

- Ability to manager team and get the delivery of good quality of PNL reports.

- Innovative mindset which can bring in process transformation and efficiency in process.

- Strong knowledge about Financial Products used at an Investment Bank

- Good understanding of valuation for various products of an investment bank

- Experience in working on certification process

- Demonstrate good organizational and Team management skills

- Demonstrate Effective problem solving and analytical skill

- Orientation to detail, pro-active, critical thinking
