P&L Business Lead - B2B2C Startup - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI (12-15 yrs)
- We are currently retained by a leading tech based start-up in the country (well-funded and established) to hire a P&L/Business Lead for them.
- This role requires someone who has proven experience in managing P&L, launching a new line of business from scratch and scaling it.
- This role will encompass overseeing business expansion, formulating go-to market strategy, improving key metrics, and acquiring new customers. The role provides you the opportunity to work directly with CXOs to assist them in sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Aspects of the role:
- Lead research and analysis on new market opportunities, strategic initiatives, business development, competitive landscape and cross-business segment opportunities.
- Drive business growth and revenue, own and monitor the P&L (top line and bottom line).
- Collaborate with Technology, Product Management and Marketing teams to drive future roadmap.
- Developing business strategies in line with the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
- Provide leadership to sales and marketing, including objectives and strategies for new launches, entry into new markets, customer acquisition strategies etc.
- Drive, supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the company.
To fit the bill:
- You must be a BE/MBA from Tier 1 institutes.
- A minimum of 12+ years of exp. in building business and P&L management in tech based product companies.
- Strong business acumen.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Can thrive in a fast paced environment and is open to challenges.
