- Deliver Key Business Agenda

- Responsible for achieving the monthly secondary & primary plan

- Develop and execute regional sales strategy

- Maintain agile, efficient and competent sales infrastructure

- Deliver brand wise secondary sales

- Creatively plan for expansion of challenging territories and conversion of difficult accounts

- Solicit and expand divisional reach, revenue and service in the existing region

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of customers

- Set up and drive business strategy and processes

- Provide weekly and monthly sales action plan to area business manager, reflecting the activities required to achieve sales objectives

- Develop/implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales target

- Analyze market trends, identify threats and opportunities and recommend and implement strategies and plans to address them

- Aligning with different business functions like Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and HR from HO

- Demonstrate commercial Acumen

- Anticipate unfavorable variance in sales and provide inputs and follow-up actions to prevent/close the gap

- Have broad understanding of internal organization resources, priorities, needs relating to the business operations and achievement of sales plan

- Have detailed knowledge of sales process and expert selling skills to teach other team members, and to improve on current process

 Business Development

- Make significant contribution to the development of the region's business plan

- Should have thorough information on competitor's structure, culture, manpower, distribution, capabilities and weaknesses

- Share competitive information and suggestions for countering competitors with central HO functions

- Maintain optimum call cycles to build customer relationships

Team Handling and Development

- Involvement in the competency based recruitment process and coordinate with zonal HR for the same

- Ensure compliance to sales reporting and data management

- Set goals for all team members and create development plans for all team members

- Responsible for coaching & guiding the team to improve productivity & motivate them to achieve higher results & earn full incentives
