Job Description for Sales Strategy

The role would include contributing to team problem solving efforts for the engagement, identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations and helping to implement change within the organization. You would be required to own work streams/ projects and guide associates in their respective work streams.

- This role also requires working closely with the cross functional teams for implementation of specific engagements and across multiple projects. You would be constantly involved in discussions and presentations with the top management/board.

- The Range Of Work Includes:

1. Portfolio assessments including demand/supply modeling & projections for our key markets.

2. Info that will drive land acquisition, geographic expansion, product innovation

3. Strategic initiatives across the company or incubating and driving new business ideas

4. Operational effectiveness in sales across projects, with select scope of work being chosen for transformation activities.

5. Partner search and setting up strategic alliances across functions.

6. Conduct feasibility for new businesses, markets or land acquisitions

7. Handling Audit queries and answers across SOPs and process

8. Creation of SOPs and its implementation

9. Handling and building the AOP plan with central strategy teams and other departments

10. Target allocation to sales team and the respective verticals

11. Spend Analysis across Sales and Marketing budgets and its efficiency.

12. Competition Study

13. Pricing and Sales Ladder control

14. Handling conflicts with departments such as Finance/CRM and Projects across the portfolio

15. Managing the Schemes from Housing Finance corporations and its implementation

16. Product recommendations as per current absorption trends

17. Handling of all price promotion deviations and its requisite approvals

18. MIS Management

19. Business Hygiene

20. Sales Center - Controls, Dos and Don'ts

The Sales Strategy work ranges from pure strategy initiatives to getting it done. Also, the sales strategy serves as an incubator for new initiatives across the sales department working very closely with the Sales & Marketing HOD.
