Job Description :

Key Roles and Responsibilities :


- Responsible for day-to-day purchasing of non-strategic raw materials, packaging materials and labels for ROW sites.

- Work with CRA and Artwork Management Team to insure label and packaging artwork is ready for printing.


- Monitor and expedite orders as necessary to insure uninterrupted operations at Digwal IA site.


- Initiates and monitors release schedules for Vendor supplied items to ensure timely delivery.


- Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.


- Support expediting and purchase order follow-up.


- Ensure materials are delivered per schedule, follow-up and resolve any issues with vendors affecting existing and future PO's.


- Coordinate procurement activities with site customers.


- Continuously evaluate vendor performance and reliability and implement corrective actions as necessary.


- Communicate discrepancies found on shipments received from vendors; Resolves shipments in error with suppliers.


- Provide world-class procurement support to Digwal PCC IA site.


- Coordinate with logistics/projects as required to maintain raw material flow.


- Resolve invoice issues and coordinate return purchase orders.


- Initiates projects related to packaging materials cost reduction and improvements.


- Resolves all daily PR and PO issues.


- Assist ROW PCC Supply Planner as required.


Essential Experience :

- Minimum 10 years' experience preferable in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and SAP experience is mandatory

- Exposure to cGMP principles and practices


- Knowledge of purchasing practices, procedures, and vendor selection and justification


Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Packaging preferred
