Location: Lower Parel (Mumbai)

About CFG: The Corporate Finance Group (CFG) handles debt and structured finance transactions. This position would be assisting the General Manager - Legal in directly working with the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) for all transactions and general advisory for the group. The role requires interactions with external firms and companies for execution of all transaction documents, closing related support and assistance to the reporting manager for all transaction related work. The role will also include advising the team on its statutory obligations while keeping in mind the interests of the company and interacting with internal stakeholders for processes.

Key responsibilities and required experience:

1 The candidate should have extensive experience in drafting, and reviewing senior debt and structured debt transactions.

2 The candidate should be proficient in debenture subscription processes, various loans by NBFCs and security creation.

3 The candidate should have a strong understanding of security related laws and processes, NBFC and banking regulations, SARFAESI, Companies Act and FPI/FVCI regulations.

4 The role will require coordination with external law firms, borrowers and internal teams on various syndicated, structured and project financing deals.

5 The role will involve assisting the reporting manager on various on-going issues and provide relevant regulatory updates from time to time.

6 The candidate will need to have proficient communication skills.

7 The candidate should have the ability to work under high pressure situations and run with multiple transactions together.
