Purpose of job:

This position would be to work for the Real Estate business of Piramal Group which would involve lending to/investing in the real estate companies in the form of debt/equity/loan and other instruments and providing general legal advisory for the group. The role requires interactions with external firms, trustee companies, internal stakeholders and developer companies for execution of all transaction documents, closing related support and assistance to the reporting manager for all transaction-related work.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

1. The role will require drafting and be reviewing transaction documents, reviewing title search/due diligence reports and coordination with external law firms, trustee companies, borrowers and internal teams on various transactions.

2. The role will involve assisting the reporting manager on various on-going issues, debt /equity deals and provide relevant regulatory updates from time to time.

3. The candidate will need to have proficient communication skills.

4. The candidate should have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and deal with multiple transactions together.

Competencies:

- The candidate should have experience in drafting and reviewing loan and security-related documents.

- The candidate should have a good understanding of security-related laws and processes, RERA, IBC, and Companies Act.

Fluency in English essential.
