Job Description  Department: Manager - Legal (Emerging Corporate Lending)  Job Description :   The Emerging Corporate Lending (ECL) vertical caters to financing emerging and mid-market businesses on a sector-agnostic basis. This position would be assisting the Manager - Legal in directly working with ECL for all transactions and general advisory. The role requires drafting, negotiation of facility documents, interactions with companies for execution of all transaction documents, closing related support and assistance to the reporting manager for all transaction related work. The role will also include advising the team on its statutory obligations while keeping in mind the interests of the company and interacting with internal stakeholders for processes.  Requirement :   1. The candidate should have experience in structuring the deal, drafting, negotiating and finalisingdebt instruments, LAP, LAS, LRD transactions.  2. The candidate should have a strong understanding of contract laws, interpretation of statute, security related laws and processes, NBFC and banking regulations, SARFAESI, Companies Act and IBC.  3. The role will require coordination with borrowers and internal/external teams for the purpose of finalising the deals.  4. The role will involve assisting the reporting manager on various on-going issues and provide relevant regulatory updates from time to time.  5. The role will involve document handling, managing MIS etc  6. The candidate will need to have proficient communication skills.  7. The candidate should have the ability to work under high pressure situations and run with multiple transactions together.  Experience and Background :   Education : Minimum LL.B from a reputed law school  Languages: Fluency in English essential.   Years: Minimum of 3-4 years PQE: gained only with the banking and finance function of a reputed law firm/corporate .
