Job Description

Key Roles/Responsibilities - 

- Ensuring and Leading total EHS Management of R&D operations

- Co-ordinate with respective departments for maintaining SHE standards.



- Liaison with respective government departments.

- Compliance with clients' audits & projects to fulfill SHE needs.

- Maintain the Safety of employees as well as plant.

- Achieve the discharge parameter of treated water

- Ensure the ETP operations are in line with the regulatory norms

- Support Corporate EHS functions as per need.

- Ensure implementation of SHE policy, Management systems (EMS, OHSAS, PSMS) and compliance to statutory & legal requirements for achieving zero accident and hazard free environment

- Educate and create awareness among employees about potential hazards

- Monitor the workplace to ensure employees follow safety in manufacturing like PPE, Safe work practices & control mechanisms.

- Conducting and participating in workplace SHE meetings like safety committee, emergency mock drills, Management Review meetings

- Ensure emergency preparedness, periodical audits and progress of SHE management programs

- Installation and maintenance of SHE devices and instruments

- Assisting in the investigation of accidents, monitor and prevent - unsafe actions & use of unsafe equipment and tools.

- Coordinating with Govt. agencies like pollution control board, inspectorate of factories for periodical surveys and audits.

- Ensure the results of safety inspections are documented; monitoring the investigation of accidents and injuries; ensuring that corrective actions are taken; progress of mgmt. audit points and providing recommendations for ways to prevent similar accidents.

- Reporting MIS as per defined frequency

Qualifications - 



- B.Sc. (Chemistry)/B.Tech and P.G. Diploma in Industrial Safety or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CB.Sc. (Chemistry)/B.Tech and P.G. 

- Diploma in Industrial Safety or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) from reputed institute) from reputed institute.

- Minimum 8-10 years in any Pharma company
