Piramal Foundation - Program Director - Organizational Development (10-15 yrs)

The Program Director (PD) leads the Nirmaan product team of potentially 3 - 4 experienced HR & OD professionals. The PD will lead the identification and design of nation-wide organizational development interventions in areas of talent management, organization architecture, culture transformation, change management, HR function effectiveness and rewards. The role will partner closely with State Leaders, Government stakeholders and other functions within the organization.

Each Program Director leads operations in a particular Geography and leads internal teams with expertise in specific domains like learning and development, process improvement, organizational design, curriculum development, and technology-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: The Program Director will lead

- Design transformation strategies and OD interventions

- Identify client needs and design organization development programs

- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to assess current state and identify key levers of change

- Develop scalable and replicable programs, methodologies, tools and templates for OD interventions based on global leading practices and client needs

- Develop transformation approaches, strategies and roadmaps that integrate the various OD interventions into a single, systemic framework; work with Operations teams in each state to tailor these strategies

- Consult and work with operations teams to ensure capability building and knowledge transfer

- Manage stakeholders & change in partnership with Central & State teams

- Develop and maintain relationships with officials at Healthcare & Education institutions

- Influence internal and external partners to support implementation of solutions

- Understand the country's public healthcare ecosystem and influence, engage other NGO's and organizations

- Engage & build partnerships with consulting firms or other knowledge partners

Develop People

- Hire, develop, motivate, and retain the Nirmaan team & the wider OD community at Piramal Foundation

- Develop scalable processes for team development

- Create a safe space and processes for problem solving, communication, and collaboration

Execute change

- Work closely with operations teams to successfully execute the end to end transformation roadmap and related OD interventions

- Design and execute Transformation Management and Program Management Office frameworks, practices, tools and templates

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

1. MBA in HR / OD or MPP from leading global or Indian institution

2. Ten+ years of experience in managing government reforms, including OD areas

3. Comfort with taking up new and complex problems, applying everyday learning and insights, and solving through collaboration

4. Deep and practical understanding of domain areas such as HR strategy, HR function effectiveness, talent assessment, career paths, organization design, learning strategies, performance management, rewards, culture, HR technology, change management

5. Exposure to national and state level work in OD would be essential. Execution experience is essential

6. Significant experience in managing and advising government clients with large scale transformation

7. Readiness to learn, un-learn, and re-learn while adapting a dynamic work environment and needs

8. Passion for service and social impact, especially in the space of public healthcare
