Piramal Foundation - Head - Human Resource - IIM/XLRI/TISS/SCMHRD (20-30 yrs)

Purpose:

Lead Human Resources function for Piramal Foundation ensuring multiple high impact projects operate in a sustainable manner through a highly motivated team of partners.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and implement an HR strategy in line with the growth plans in due consultation with CEOs and Group HR. Ensure HR plans support the needs of the Foundation and are flexible enough to cope with changes in the Organisation, where required.

- Responsible for providing strategic direction for the organization, participate in senior level decision making processes and oversee day to day management and compliance requirements

- Actively study, adapt and implement best practices which can help build sustainable organizational practices.

Flex leadership style to ensure that Foundation's big picture is converted into actionable and at the same time, set an example by leading change. Deploy sound cultural practices as the Foundation builds a unique culture based on collaboration, behavior change and an unwavering focus on outcomes.

- Build senior leadership team in the Foundation, including through crossover talent. Actively develop and promote a talent sourcing strategy for the Foundation that builds diversity and resilience.

- Facilitating Organizational Development (OD) & leadership interventions in line with organizational needs for enhancing organizational effectiveness. Strategize and implement a learning and development agenda in consultation with the CEOs that helps create a talent pipeline for future requirements

- Oversee HR Operations that ensure a seamless experience for all employees. Implement appropriate technology platforms for HR process to provide ease of management to all, including the front line employees

- Collaborate with Center of Excellence / Communities of Excellence to leverage collective wisdom on various steams of HR

- Work out Compensation philosophy that can balance between compensation expectations and commitment to the sector - including establishing appropriate benchmarks with comparators.

- Drive compliances with labor laws, liaise with appropriate authorities for the same and handle IR issues wherever required.

Essential skills and qualification:

- MBA from a premier management institute along with a Bachelor's degree from a reputed university/institute.

- Experience in managing Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Culture Building with demonstrated leadership qualities. Capable of steering the HR function in a development sector in particular or in a variety of sectors.

- Should be experienced in managing large workforce, maintaining healthy employee relations and contractor workers

- Collaboration / influencing without authority

- Ability to work with differing viewpoints and build consensus

- High level of emotional intelligence

- Ability to see the large picture, spot mega trends as also dive into details wherever necessary

- Looking to a long term engagement and commitment to build an institution
