Description - Effective working for getting right RFPs within stipulated time for clinching new businesses

- Effective planning and ensuring timely execution of project execution, process engineering initiatives, trial & validation batches for new products in co-ordination with PDG/Production/QA/QC/EHS etc.,

- Driving for effective engagement of the team through Gallup

- Creating GMP and EHS compliance as a culture within the department

- Providing complete support during customer visits and audit

- Problem Solving and Technical Understanding with strong analytical skills

- Strong Knowledge on cGMP and ICH Guidelines.

- Proficient in trouble shooting and re-engineering.

- Strong Expertise in Process and Equipment Design, Line sizing, Pressure drop calculations, Pump calculations, Utilities sizing and Process Scale up.

- Good knowledge on design of Distillation columns, Heat Exchangers (Condensers and Reboilers), Reactors, Vessels and Storage tanks.

- Basic Knowledge on Risk Analysis, PHA and HAZOP.

- Good Knowledge on ERS, PSV Sizing and Process Control

- Material and Energy Balance Calculations.

- Good Knowledge on Preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD'S), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID'S).

- Good Knowledge on Process Design of Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering.

- To coordinate with Technology Transfer for commercial production, scale-up, Facility change execution and monitoring of validation batches.

- Involve in studying various Engineering factors like Utility calculation, Time cycle calculation, in process parameters, Equipment design for a process.

- Hands-on experience of Operation, Design and Troubleshooting of Batch Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Distillation column, centrifuges, Dryers, Pumps and all unit operations in Bulk Drug manufacturing industry.

- Time cycle reduction of batch cycle for improvement in capacity by improving unit operation such as distillation and filtration etc.

- Debottlenecking of Existing and New products for cost reduction and improvement in process for better productivity

- Carried out Cost reduction and Yield Improvement trials for a process at pilot plant level

B.E / B.Tech (Chemical) or Equivalent Post graduate diploma in Process Engineering
