Pioneer Insurance - Analyst - Investment Banking

1. Analysts must actively participate in live deals, right from ideation stage till the finalization of the information memorandum and documents for investors.

2. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis:

a. Preparing financial models, valuation & pro forma analysis, to support strategic decision-making and transaction execution.

b. Perform thorough Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss (P&L) analysis to assess financial health, identify trends, and develop working capital projections.

c. Prepare comprehensive Credit Monitoring Arrangement (CMA) reports for banks, including financial statements, project evaluation, and risk assessment, to support credit applications and facilitate loan approvals.

d. Prepare pitch books, offer memorandums, and other presentation materials for client meetings.

e. Perform in-depth industry and market research to identify trends, potential target companies, and investment opportunities.

3. Participate in due diligence processes, including coordinating with internal and external parties (Banks, NBFCs, Funds etc.), gathering and analyzing relevant information, and preparing due diligence reports.

4. Assist in the drafting and review of transaction-related documentation, such as collaterals, term sheets and supporting documentation

5. Analysts will have the opportunity to directly communicate and liaison with clients and investors for discussions relating to the transactions.

6. Support senior bankers in managing client relationships, including attending client meetings and calls, and building rapport with investors.

7. Actively participate in deal origination activities, right from tracking key sectors, shortlisting companies, cold calling clients and going for meetings with senior bankers to build relationships and onboard clients.

8. Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends that may impact clients and transactions.
