We are hiring for a Data Scientist Team Lead Job Description for Data Scientist (TL) Summary: Part of a young and dynamic analytics function, the role is to analyse the organizations large and multidimensional data sets and develop cutting edge data science solutions. The role enables you to lead a team of data scientist and experiment with latest technologies and methodologies in the data science world. Key Role/ Responsibilities - As a team lead the individual will be providing technical expertise to the team in day to day development tasks. - Responsible for exploring large quantities of structured and unstructured data in order to answer business questions and come up with new use cases. - Should be expert in all phases of model development (EDA, Hypothesis, Feature creation, Dimension reduction, Data set cleanup, Training models, Model selection, Validation and Deployment) - Is expected to participate and lead discussions during the solution design phase. - Should have deep understanding of statistical &amp; machine learning methods ((logistic regression, svm, decision tree, random forest, neural network), Regression (linear regression, decision tree, random forest, neural network), Classical optimisation (gradient descent etc), - Expected to gain business understanding in order to come up with relevant analytics use cases. - Must have thorough mathematical knowledge of correlation/causation, classification, recommenders, probability and stochastic processes, and how to implement them to a business problem. - Familiarity with NLP, Sentiment analysis, text mining, data scraping solutions. Technical Skills - Expert level proficiency in at-least one statistical programming language R / Python. - Working knowledge of Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, Redshift and MongoDB - Exposure to open source tools &amp; working on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and being able to use their tools like Athena, Sagemaker, machine learning libraries etc.. is an added advantage - Exposure to big data processing technologies like Spark, MapReduce is big advantage - Exposure to visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Redash, d3js etc.. is an added advantage.
