Pidilite - Senior Manager - Accounts - Supply Chain Management (8-10 yrs)
- Budgeting of SCM cost- Annual budget for primary freight, secondary freight, CFA cost, rental cost, export freight, branch admin, export CFA cost etc. and tracking of the freight KPIs
- Monthly closing of books of accounts related to primary freight, secondary freight, CFA remuneration, W/H rental, export freight and CFA cost. Data collection, validation & posting
- Detailed scrutiny of ledger to check right/proper expenses are booked under right cost center and correction if required
- Analysis & tracking of each cost element of SCM - vs Budget, historic trends - Last year, 3-month average etc. and report the exceptions to senior management for primary, secondary transportation & warehousing costs
- Participate in monthly IRM and DRM and provide monthly MIS with data to prepare OAAP and analysis of same
- Support in identification of cost saving initiatives (CSIs) in SCM area and track the performance of same on monthly basis for all locations
- Control location inventory (physical vs actual) and raise debit note to recover from concerned CFA
- Validate cost booking against agreement and raise debit note, approve bills
- Reviewing reasons and doing RCA for freight query bills and taking corrective action to reduce freight query bills
- Capex Management - Tracking of capex spend of the division
- Checking & validating the various cost saving projects of SCM
