Pidilite Industries - Assistant Manager - Production (3-6 yrs)
Desired Profile of the candidate :
1. Must be B.E / B.Tech Chemical or Mechanical Engineer with min 3 to 6 years of experience into Production planning & schedule, RM and PM planning, Coordination with Purchase, HO operations, understanding on Statutory requirement for factory from Paint or FMCG industry only.
2. Must & should be from top NIT institute.
3. Must be ready to relocate to Mahad, Maharashtra.

Unit Deliverables :
Responsible for achieving output deliverables for the assigned unit/s with respect to:
I. Service : Ensuring seamless servicing based on daily BOR thereby achieving minimal or nil Black & Red priority SKU's in BOR
ii. Service : Ensuring seamless servicing based on daily Export commitment SKU's thereby achieving minimal or nil overdue SKU's in Export COIIS
iii. Quality : Ensuring adherence to deviation management process & time bound systemic addressel of deviations from the standard/Recipe pertaining to Process & Product Quality
iv. Ensure product quality meets the customer requirements in a consistent manner & Faster response to corrective actions in areas affecting product Quality
v. Ensuring analysis & effective addressel of customer complaints in 15 days from the receipt of complaint received by the unit.
vi. Ensuring RM/PM/SFG Variances are monitored, controlled against the standard to maximize the product yield at minimal cost
vii. Ensuring optimal Energy utilization by ensuring standard cycle time with no reworks & wastes
viii. Ensuring minimal non-moving / slow moving inventories by ensuring timely escalation of such materials to appropriate agencies at HO
ix. Drive Cost Reduction through - Productivity improvement, Cost Saving projects, Cycle time reduction & variable manpower reduction. Review progress of all cost reduction initiatives.
x. Monitoring for RM/PM /SFG- Yields & variance management
xi. Ensure Good Manufacturing practices, 5s & TPM implementation & sustenance at units
Statutory Compliance : Understand, implement & ensure that all the applicable statutory acts & rules pertaining to production operations

Safety and Environment :
- Responsible for implementation of EHS Management System related to his function.
- Responsible for implementation of safety Risk assessment and addressal of high-risk activities.
- Responsible for effective implementation of critical safety systems such as Permit System, Electrical safety ,Electrical Isolation ( Lag out-Tag out system - LOTO),Confined space entry ,Fire control management of the workplace.
- To close the audit points in a time bound manner
- Ensure Accident/Incident reporting , communication to Factory Manager.
- Ensure effective analysis & implementation of corrective actions of all incidents/accidents
- Maintain a MIS of all Statutory LM compliances, Water Cycle and Waste generation.
People Related :
- Responsible for development of plant staff at all levels in his working area.
- Interact with employees at regular periodicity, understand and record concerns. Pick-up employee concerns and discuss with FM for resolution.
- To help FM to Conduct employee engagement initiatives in the Function like HAH, Open House & Recognition programs etc
- Ensure a cohesive working amongst employees of different functions .
