Position Summary:

Role involves providing support to colleagues in financial, taxation, treasury, deal transaction support and legal matters internally and externally with the tax departments, tax consultants, auditors, lawyers and judicial authorities and government bodies.

The position will be reporting to the Senior Financial Officer / CFO.

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day & periodic accounting, banking cash flow & auditing activities.

- Preparation of periodic MIS reports

- Finalization of accounts

- Direct and indirect tax planning, preparation of tax reports, filing of returns.

- Drafting, vetting and finalization of legal agreements in line with the business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the Company.

- Handle legal and tax matters in coordination with external counsels, following up with tax authorities, courts and government offices for various works of record implementation, appeals, complaints, inquiries, disputes, cases etc.

- Play a supporting role in the treasury function.

Candidate Profile:

Interested applicants should be keen to move up the financial corporate ladder; those with ambitions of being Senior Financial Officers. The preferred candidate would be the one who is focused on an outcome, excellent problem solver and strong communicator.

- Qualification: Inter CA with min. 5 years of experience or a CA with min. 2-3 years of experience in a related field

- Required areas of expertise: Taxation, Accounts & Finance.

- Required areas of working knowledge: Legal & Compliance.

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills

- High degree of honesty, integrity and strong work ethic.

- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide & defend an opinion.

- Minimum age of 30 years.

Requirements:

- Mumbai candidate will be given preference.

- Notice period should not be more than 60 days.
