The Business Development Manager will primarily be responsible for the sale of the service in the Gurgaon market. The person will establish plans and strategies to expand the client base in the marketing area. The person will be required to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's vision and values. It is an individual-contribution job.

Responsibilities:

- Develop plans and strategies for the Gurgaon market and ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability

- Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects

- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets

- Provide timely feedback to the senior management

- Create and conducts proposal presentations

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

- Strong understanding of client and market dynamics and requirements

- Willingness to travel and work

- Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational goals

- Set individual sales targets

- Investigate lost sales and client accounts

- Generate timely sales reports

- Conduct market research and competitor and client analysis

- Analyse data to identify sales opportunities

- Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts

- Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the targets

- Map potential clients and generate leads for the organization; look forward to generating new opportunities for the organization

- Responsible for brand promotion; must make the service popular

- Responsible for not only selling but also maintaining and improving relationships with the clients; client relationship management is also a KRA

- Maintain necessary data and records for future reference

Required Skills:

- Strong connections in restaurants, bakeries, retail chains, pharmacies, etc., in Gurgaon

- Strong networking skills in general

- Experience in technical sales skills

- Proven experience in client relationship management

- knowledge of market research

- relevant product and industry knowledge

- experience with relevant software applications
