PI Industries - Lead - Branding (18-22 yrs)

Position Purpose:


- The incumbent would be the creative powerhouse of Pl Industries and would lead all branding and content initiatives.


- This role will be responsible for creating and evolving the brand identity, brand awareness including in the digital arena and should have high level of ownership and vision for the brand of the company.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic:


- Person should be responsible for creating and evolving the brand identity.


- Managing and controlling the brand portfolio budget


- Managing the Brand strategy and execution in India (Conceptualization to awareness)


- Be a trusted adviser to PI leadership on adoption of digital methodologies for branding and communications to deliver a unified message across all channels


- Strategize, plan, develop messaging for and implement trackable internal and external communication and digital campaign


- Planning branding initiatives, ATL and BTL activities for the brands


- Strategize and plan various communication programs for PI


- Take ownership to improve visibility for PI through improved brand positioning externally and internally


- Demonstrate why PI is a great place to work


- Engage with PI leadership to develop annual strategic plans and detailed objectives for PI brand and communications function


- Be strategic: set direction; develop communication programs; negotiate roles and budgets across a networked organization


- Strategize, plan, develop messaging for and implement trackable internal and external communication and digital campaigns


- Develop the content strategy across platforms


Operational & Financial:


- Managing and controlling the brand portfolio budget


- Mange digital footprints of the brand


- In charge of managing the media agencies


- Building on the PR and marketing communications touch points for the brand


- Manage consumer research for the brands and delivering initiatives in accordance


- Support Talent Acquisition programs and improving quality of hires by leveraging social media such as LinkedIn etc.


- Improve effectiveness of internal events, engagement campaigns and social media at PI


- Engage with industry bodies for events, awards and own company spokespersons training and preparation


- Aligned with leadership guidance for external communications, work with PR agency to build thought leadership of PI in the external media


- Establish compliance with brand guidelines, standards and PI Brand best practices for internal/external communications, web site, posters, media & other events within office locations and/or other venues.


- Be a trusted adviser to PI leadership on adoption of digital methodologies for branding and communications to deliver a unified message across all channels


- Work with external agencies and event vendors to achieve optimal execution efficiency for communications, media and other events related work while ensuring delivery on budget, on time & on brand requirements


- Frontline delivery: flawless delivery of content written, presentation, in-person or visual


- Annual budget planning


- Set-up standard process for regular activities like quarterly meetings, town-halls, visitors etc.


- Create consistent messaging and positioning


- Performance Marketing Collaterals:


- Design customized performance marketing collaterals for both text and video formats across different channels


- Design landing pages that help in conversion


- Content Marketing


- Lead the content team to develop content that drives traffic on the website


- Branding Content: Develop brand videos to build an emotional connection with the brand, Execute content development through a team and agencies


- Marketing Communications: Design internal and external communication in line with the brand voice (emailers, messages, brochures, guides etc.) Develop powerful marketing collaterals for the sales teams


- Social Media: Develop the social media strategy across different channels, track and monitor social media metrics across various channels


- Website Communication: Ideate the most effective communication for the website People


- Promote knowledge sharing within and across the team


- Build a team constituting of members from various functions that help out as needed with Branding, Communications & Digital tasks


- Actively drive, in conjunction with the Senior Management Team, the performance management process of the team


- Recognize & reward excellent performers & affirm key contributions of employees toward the achievement of goals & objectives of the team


- Inspire & motivate employees through demonstrated commitment to PIs values, vision & mission and active participation in various team engagement activities


Profile Requirements:


Educational Qualification:


- Masters degree in business administration ; Bachelors degree in Marketing and/or Communications with 18+ years of experience in Branding, Communications and Digital Marketing in a reputed organization preferably multinational organization.


Previous Experience :


- 18 plus years of experience in branding and allied functions;


- Strong experience in building digital brands


- Exceptional creative thinking and the ability to develop iconic brands


- Ability to lead creative teams and drive them towards a goal
