Job Brief :

PhonePe is setting up its Monetization business and is building a high-performance Advertising sales team.

We are looking for a leader who can build the sales team and grow PhonePe's Ad monetization business. We are looking for highly driven sales people who will play a key role in shaping the business, the product and the business model. As a revenue owner, you will be leading and managing PhonePe's portfolio of Advertisers. We want to build a strong business relationship which help leverage PhonePe's reach and deliver long term success to our advertising partners.

Responsibilities :

- Own and deliver the Ad Sales revenue targets for PhonePe

- Defining the market for the portfolio, identifying the right partners to work with and identifying the right product-market fit.

- Create and own the business model for the portfolio and define the strategy to scale the business.

- Build out a strong Ad sales team to deliver on the revenue number

- Planning, developing, and evaluating of new consumer-driven advertising initiatives on a consistent basis, developing and acting upon marketing opportunities, based on consumer needs in order to guarantee consumer satisfaction.

- Establishing strong long-term relationships with partners; and building a sustainable & profitable business.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders like Product teams, other business teams and operations to achieve the business goals.

- Contribute to the overall growth and profit of PhonePe business by expanding our partner ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 12+ years- experience in Marketing/Brand Management/Sales/Digital Sales/Partner management.

- Proven and successful track record of influencing, meeting, and exceeding advertising sales targets as well as the business's overall targets set by the business.

- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Adept at making data-driven decisions.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment Should be able to contribute both as an individual contributor and as leader of people.

- Strong understanding of the advertising.

- Prior experience with India based ad networks (on the demand side) and/or with Media Agencies with strong digital sales presence.

- MBA from a Top Tier B-School.
