Responsibilities of the role: 1. You will work with data to understand patterns and anti-patterns to determine risk activity ranging from fraud, AML, identity theft, KYC and non-compliant activity per RBI, company policies. 2. You are responsible for defining, developing and communicating key metrics that needs to be monitored, to infer risky activity with respect to businesses, category, products, merchants etc. 3. You model data and quantitatively analyse that translates data into actionable insights and can contribute to decision making with your stake holders, keeping PhonePe principles and customer interest as sacrosanct. 4. You mentor junior Analysts and contribute actively to team development in terms of skill development and team building. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's in engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute or strong relevant work experience. 2. You have 3+ years of experience in relevant role 3. Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills 4. Strong organisational, communication, presentation and project management skills 5. Technical capabilities: Proficient in SQL, Excel, Other scripting language (PHP, Python etc.) 6. Strong working experience with BI tools (QlikView, Tableau etc) and Statistical tools (R, SAS etc) 7. Strong background in statistical modelling and experience with statistical tools such R, SASS or SPSS. Preferred: 1. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 2. . Able to perform multiple projects gracefully with attention to detail.
