PhonePe - Category Manager - In-App Store

Job description :

Aiming to build the largest platform connecting merchants with users, we recently opened up our platform for other businesses to build their experiences within PhonePe app (More details about In-App Store here). We are looking for smart,enthusiastic and problem solvers to join our team as Category Managers and help us redefine the mobile commerce ecosystem.

Category Manager at PhonePe serves in a pivotal role, building and managing the respective category business. The role demands a deep understanding of market segment and consumer needs, thus leading strategic initiatives for the category growth.

What to expect from this role :

Responsibilities :

- End to end ownership of user experience for the category business

- Manage growth and P&L for the category

- Understand and analyze the market positioning, trends and consumer psyche and create strategies to innovate consumer offerings and drive growth

- Ownership of all category related marketing activities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams- design, product, engineering, marketing and business finance to lead category specific initiatives

- Opportunity to work with top brands in the nation. Exhibit excellent skills in acquiring and managing business alliances
