PhonePe - Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

- Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements

- Perform quality assurance

- Define reporting and alerting requirements

- Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration

- Help design, document and maintain system processes

- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team

- Communicate key insights and findings to product team

- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

- You will be involved in automating data fetch processes for analysis and building dashboards to enhance data visibility to management and business stakeholders

- You collaborate with data engineering team to understand data instrumentation and architecture

- You are responsible for defining, developing and communicating key metrics and business trends to partner and management teams

- You model data in order to create generate deep insights and design right interventions.

- You execute quantitative analysis that translates data into actionable insights.

- You drive data driven decision making through the stake holders.

Requirements:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements.

- Hands on: BI tools (Cognos, BO, Pentaho, Qlikview), Web analytics tool (GA, Omniture etc), Statistical tools (R, SAS etc)

- Experience in analyzing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets.

- Penchant for business, curiosity about numbers and persistence to work with data to tease out insights.

- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute.

- You have 2+ Years of experience in relevant role

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

- Exposure to statistical techniques such as regression, segmentation and forecasting

- Technical capabilities: SQL, Excel and Scripting Language
