In this role. you will be responsible for: - Supports the Head of Strategy with development of strategic plan/framework for the organization, and the detailed current year operating plan, while adhering to direction set by the CEO. This includes formalizing and leading the strategic planning process, focusing on long term trends and outlook, and competitive intelligence. - Facilitating the execution of the strategy by working collaboratively with the other key stakeholders and ensuring that the strategy is communicated and easily understood by all throughout the organization. Ensuring that strategic actions are completed at various levels to achieve desired results. - Ensuring that appropriate metrics are in place to measure performance and progress towards strategic goals. - Acting as a key advisor to the Head of Strategy on critical changes in the competitive landscape, global marketplace and external business environment - Engaging external business and industry experts to learn and influence business strategies, constantly remaining alert and forward-thinking about opportunities and risks in the industry. - Supports the organization's approach to measurement and evaluation with a focus on the creation of an organizational dashboard for impact and organizational effectiveness To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: - 3+ years of overall experience in strategy planning and an MBA from a premier institute - The candidate will have gained substantial exposure to corporate strategy management, with direct exposure to top management strategy formulation and decision making. - Ability to apply a variety of strategic frameworks to analyze problems and to guide and develop solutions. - The incumbant will be a natural collaborator with an ability to establish and maintain lasting relationships both internally and externally. - He/she should introduce metrics designed to track the effects of action plans and determine whether the actions are effective at meeting targets or whether new plans should be developed. - Administratively, the incumbant must be well versed in developing and interpreting analytical reports used to measure change. - He/she must also have strong written, verbal, communication and presentation skills. - Exposure to lean methodologies / six sigma
