Job Title : HR Manager

Reporting to : Head - HR, GBS

Job location : Chennai

Brief Summary :

- This role is within the Human Resource organization. The incumbent is responsible for deployment of key HR policies and processes and implementation of the People and Organization Strategy in Businesses and Markets, delivers HR services based on a solid understanding of HR processes and organization's needs, and offers operational support in implementing the people strategy set by the HRBP.

You will be responsible for :

Employee Engagement :


- Drive Employee Engagement agenda including Recognition. Act as employee champion including voicing employees- concerns in management meetings. Counsels employees on organizational issues. Create and implement effective internal employee communication forums

Performance Management :


- Deploy and monitor performance management system for all employees and ensure adherence to the process. Review developmental plans & their execution for all employees

HR Operations :


- Interacts with Business on day-to-day operation pertaining to transfers, promotions, separations, appointments, induction, execution of policies, ACR Preparation etc.

Talent Acquisition :


- Support Job evaluation of new roles, support RSM (Recruitment Strategy meeting) & manage business escalation

Talent and Learning Initiatives :


- Ensure that programs are in line with development needs as per PPM and Business needs. Provide feedback of Learning Programs to CoE LTL to enhance the quality of learning effectiveness. Preparation for Talent reviews.

HR Programs : Deployment of Corporate Programs & Change initiatives. Ensure all practices are within HR compliance limit.

Projects & Process Improvements : Keenly review & analyze existing processes and identify avenues of improvements, efficiencies, etc.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience :

- Over 8+ years of relevant working experience in dealing with operational and strategic HR matters within a complex and dynamic business context characterized by different cultures, management styles, systems and procedures

- Experience in operational implementation of the HR strategy through day-today execution of HR activities

- Experience of working in a shared services environment will be desirable

- Experience in delivery of core HR services through end-to-end framework

- Practice in making business decisions that align with organizational goals

- Experience in different business/functional areas

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

- Experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating projects
