Key Accountabilities:

Engagement with the S&OP process to ensure that:

- Plant capabilities and capacities are clearly understood and visible at a strategic (annual), tactical (quarterly), and operational (monthly) level of granularity.

- The attributes of demand are understood (size of demand, forecast accuracy, PLM)

- Capacity utilization is visible by key resource area (e.g. Blending, Filling, Bulk Loading, PLM, Warehouse)

- Appropriate communication between functions is supported by facts to enable improved decision making on scenarios, opportunities, constraints

- Product introductions and withdrawals are made in a timely, efficient manner

- Based on the rough-cut plan, ensure that production resources (plant, people, materials) are planned to develop an efficient and effective detailed plan, supporting the objectives of the plant and the region.

- Ensure that master data (static and dynamic) remains accurate.

- Ensure that manufacturing optimization, inventory holding and customer service are continuously improved through the identification and elimination of waste.

- Ensure that planning master data (static and dynamic) remains accurate - particular regard should be made to planning realistic production output using - actual/proven- rather than - theoretical- capacities.

- Manage plant planning teams to ensure that communication between functions within the plant is continuously improved by means of leading regular (at least daily) - Comms Cell- meetings with fresh, accurate, data.

- Highlight any Lube blending plant constraints that need to be taken into account in the Inventory Policy.

- Identify and propose Capex / Opex requirements to make to support demand requirements or reduce waste.

- Agree safety stocks with inbound for key components to ensure that raw material availability does not disrupt production.

- Ensure that inventory, batch sizes & set-up times are optimized.

- Ensure that deviations from plan are visible and agree recovery plans, root cause analysis with the operations team to prevent re-occurrence.

- Ensure that communication between functions is continuously improved by means of supporting Step 3 and 4 meetings with fresh, accurate, data and options to unlock capacity constraints.

- Regularly (quarterly) refresh inventory parameters.

- Ensure that delivery sizes and frequency are optimised to achieve lower costs and better service.

- Collaborate with deployment planning to resolve sales order exceptions in a timely manner.

- Reviewing alerts in a timely manner to ensure system generated production plans are achievable and maintain plans by exception

- Responsible for accurate master data in the system

- Actively support the professional development of team members

- Use relevant KPIs to drive performance and improvements through planning and production e.g.

- Production Schedule Adherence

- Plant Loading: % Utilization of Production Capacity

- Collect and analyze data to identify supply chain risks, develop risk mitigation strategies and suggest improvements, offer solutions to achieve the desired results.

- Lead cross-regional discussions on supply requirements within APAC supply chain team.

- Support the development of supply chain planning processes and evaluate existing processes for continual process improvements.

- Change management for future state capabilities

- Develop and implement new process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies within the Distribution Centers

- Assisting Global value chain team in enforcing inventory holding policy to improve working capital movement while maintaining required service level, and identify opportunity for potential savings.

- Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives

- Developing and maintaining strong cross-functional working relationships

- Generate and prepare monthly performance/KPI reports - Develop, implement, track, and improve key performance metrics consistent with business objectives.

- Review daily outstanding orders report to ensure product availability to MRP demand,

- Order management to support customer demand while also delivering against monthly performance targets

- Identifying and solving critical shortages

- Communicating with internal customers- expectations of availability and ownstream impacts

- Minimize obsolete/aged inventory

- Reviewing information on delivery process and may make recommendations to improve the delivery of goods for urgent orders.

- Support with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.

- Facilitate regular collaborative meetings with organizational partners on strategic end-of process reviews, demand/supply plans, issues, and mitigating actions

- Planning and managing product distribution over the planning horizon to ensure high service levels

- Collect and analyze the consensus forecast plan for supply capacity planning.

- Coordinate activities between Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain e.g. new launch product/pack/label/promotion, ad-hoc request to decant/rework at 3rd party facility.

- Reducing risk of write off exposure during product exit or introduction, and meeting project timeline expectations.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Proven stakeholder management experience especially within a commercial environment (Sales & Marketing)

- People Management & Team working - able to interact and engage with internal senior stakeholders and other colleagues to manager supply chain performance & Discipline

- Excellent communication skills, Persuasion skills, Analysis and problemsolving skills, effective inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.

- SAP knowledge requested in the area of SD and MM

- Displays Interpersonal Effectiveness, Ability to motivate, Coach, Develop & Deliver result through others.

- Mastery in Inventory and Capacity Management, Able to integrate Customer Requirement .

- Awareness on Facility Operations (warehouse, stock),Facility Op(jet./tank/blend/fill/grease), Compliance, Control & Exposure Mgmt .

- Creativity & Awareness, Values differences, Demonstrates courage, some body who works and embeds change
